The Age Old Dilemma

Do you buy first and then sell? Start building and hope your old house sells before the new home is done? Buy the lot now, then sell the house, and then build? Take the financial risk of owning two or mess with the hassle of moving twice?
The answer to those questions depends on a lot of things. It depends on a buyer’s ability to handle risk, debt to income ratios (can you afford both payments), how much equity there is in the current home, and many other factors. The best way to determine what works is to spend some time discussing numbers and the financial ramifications with a qualified mortgage lender who is looking out for your best interests.
I’d be happy to help!
