Subprime Mortgage Volume gets clobbered…..

This report says that volume of subprime mortgages is WAY down. Personally, I think that is a good thing. However, I’d be interested in knowing how many purchase deals didn’t get done because people couldn’t qualify for a sub prime loan any more. Because then the seller of that house hasn’t been able to sell their house and hasn’t been able to buy a new home….
Would they call that the “trickle up” effect?
