I’m not making this stuff up. I had one of the commercial bankers at the bank today call me, “Mr. Doom and Gloom.” My response?
I’d rather be known as “Mr. Doom and Gloom” if I can help people prepare for and navigate through this than to be like the string quartet on the deck of the Titantic. What did they do? They played nice sounding music while their “world” went to some place very warm in a hand basket.
Will we survive this? Yes we will. Will everyone who survives be in the same position they are doing the same business they are? Nope.
My goal is to help as many people as possible navigate through this mess and to have more people realize that Tom Vanderwell is someone who talks straight and can be trusted.
If we had more people in the mortgage world who could be trusted, we’d have less problems.
