More people are moving out of Michigan than any other state in the nation.

Approximately 67 percent of the moves that occurred in 2008 were people leaving.

North Dakota, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, Indiana, Illinois, Maine and Rhode Island also topped the outbound list.

Michigan mover-outers lead nation.

Tom here – you know, I’m really not excited about my home state being the leader in this any more…..

    Tom,

And just think! Our fabulous Governor may become the Secretary of Commerce, after the outstanding job she’s done driving people out of our state.

“In five years, you’ll be blown away.”

We are, Madam Governor. We are.

    Tom,

When we sold our mortgage company, in 2006, this was still the case. It would seem to me that there is incredible opportunity, in the second home market, for those who still have a few pennies to rub together.
