Another committee?

Am I the only one who thinks:
- That the last thing we need is another committee?
- That Geithner and Summers have their hands full already with the housing and banking problems and we don’t need them being responsible for the car industry as well?
The issues that are facing housing, mortgage and banking are way too complex to be given to people who are overworked already and tell them to “Oh, handle the GM thing while you’re at it.”
Yikes,
Obama names task force to advise him on carmakers – Feb. 16, 2009
The task force will include members from the Departments of Treasury, Labor, Transportation, Commerce, and Energy, the National Economic Council, the White House Office of Energy and Environment, the Council of Economic Advisers and the Environmental Protection Agency, the official said.It will be overseen by Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner and NEC Director Larry Summers and provide advice and analysis about the auto industry.
