   Seems I may have been correct when I asked what we’d find if looking at the ‘trend line’ for the 25 year period 1950-1975. It kinda sorta throws the ‘norm’ extrapolated from the next 25 year trend line into the trash bin.

   Is there something special statistically about 25 year periods? Do we establish new norms every 25 years or so? In any case, it’s pretty inconsistent when we look at those to contiguous periods.
